The major banks will lend at these levels, but apply their own maximum loan sizes and LVR policies — and some have internal thresholds above which they prefer not to lend, meaning the LVR they'll offer may be lower than at more standard price points. A smaller group of specialist prestige lenders are specifically set up for high-value transactions and will often provide more competitive terms.
